Monthly payment estimator
What would a loan actually cost per month — and in total? Enter the numbers and find out. Nothing you type here is collected, sent, or stored: the calculation runs entirely in your browser.
Quick answer
Compare loans on total repaid, not monthly payment. This tool shows you both, plus the total interest, so a low payment stretched over a long term cannot hide its true cost.
How is the payment calculated?
From the standard loan formula: the monthly payment that pays the loan off over the term at the given APR. A 0% APR simply divides the amount by the term. The result is an estimate — actual lender terms, fees, and rounding may differ, so confirm the real figures with the lender before signing.
What should you do with the result?
Compare it across offers: same amount, same term, different APRs — and watch how the total interest moves. Then compare different terms at the same APR, and watch how a longer term lowers the payment while raising the total. The comparing-offers guide walks through the five questions to ask every lender.
